
INTRODUCTION
Gep is a project that it is implementing by the Department of Education in Catalonia.
Each year there are more schools that are integrating the project in their day-day.
Participation in the multilingual experimentation group aims to reinforce the knowledge and use of different languages ​​that have become a fundamental tool for accessing knowledge in a global society such as ours.
. The teachers involved in the project received training in CLIL to learn to include in their subject content in English. During the current academic year, 2017-18, the first one is continued with these same subjects, expanding the experience in the subjects of 2º ESO of mathematics and science
We value the experience of this first year positively because it brings benefits to students both in the foreign language and in the other subjects. On the one hand, it increases the exposure to English outside its own classes and on the other hand it allows access to a greater variety of texts of different types in other subjects.
The objective of the center is to be able, over the next three years, to implement the project in the four courses of ESO and other training cycles, so that there is continuity throughout the entire stage and this implies: An improvement in English language results in ESO The application of the AICLE / CLIL methodology in the classroom The implementation of actions aimed at attending to the diversity of students by the band of excellence. The consolidation of a team of teaching staff trained and accredited to teach curricular contents of other subjects in the English language. The improvement of the external projection of the center.
